  When discipline, honesty, simplicity, dedication, hygiene, and attaining perfection in lifestyle is indoctrinated and inculcated into ur mind from childhood at home, society, and educational institutions, you get states and nationalities like Sikkim, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Japanese, Taiwanese, and South Koreans.   We just came back from Gangtok. Explored few of these places. The moment we stepped into Sikkim felt like we are in a different country due its civic sense and cleanliness.

  We complain a lot about how things work here, and sometimes rightly so, but content like this is a reminder that, despite the flaws, we’re still ahead in many basic aspects compared to a lot of other states. Collective civic sense is where the real difference shows up.

  I have had the privilege of studying in Sikkim Manipal for 5 and half years and honestly that place is an emotion for me. It is by far the best places I have ever been to and despite being from other state I take pride in saying that a part of me will always belong to Sikkim. Loved the way you guys captured the place. You can leave Sikkim but Sikkim never leaves u…thank u so much for this video it is so nostalgic for me.

  Beautiful ❤. I had the privilege of growing up in Sikkim, and my parents had it as their &quot;karmbhoomi&quot;. The people of Sikkim are absolutely unlike anywhere in India and hence, coming to major mainland cities always felt so offsetting - not that there aren&apos;t good people there, but the sense of pride Sikkimese people have for their land is lacking elsewhere and that makes up for all the difference.
