  What a special and magical place! The story about the mother elephant carrying her baby was touching and heartbreaking. And I can't believe you caught it on camera. I don't understand how some people can possibly think that animals don't have emotions. How amazing that you saw a tiger on your final walk! I bet there's nothing quite like seeing the world's largest big cat on foot! Excited for the next video :)

  This is proof that elephants are far more empathetic than us humans.   Very emotional intelligent beings.  I had visited Jim Corbett some 40 years ago,  when I was a young lad.  Only got to see the tiger foot prints (and a male tusker that chased our jeep for a short distance,  while we sped in reverse gear).  This video made me nostalgic.  Especially,  all those early morning bird sounds that you captured so beautifully.

  I just came over from The Jammy Gitts. From one photographer to another. Those two lion cubs in that wonderfully shaped multi-stemmed tree was probably one of the best photo opportunities I’ve ever seen.

  That was an incredible watch. The footage of the elephant mother carrying her calf really tugged at my heartstrings. And the fact that you got a tiger at the end! Definitely need to visit Corbett soon!

  Hello from Ontario, Canada. I think this is kind of an adventure where your minimalist gear carrying habit must have paid off. I like your narration and video making style. This one had an element of melancholy for me because of watching the grieving mother elephant.

  So sad.  But this shows the love of a mother elephant.  Elephants are very intelligent.

  Wow! Absolutely fantastic watch that mate. Knew as a Brit about Jim Corbett and its history and connection with the local area when I visited the park a couple of years back. But the walking safari seems so much better than the jeep safaris I did! Definitely a must for my next visit to India
