I served outside of these years yet I have feared for several years I may have been exposed to toxins. Since hearing about toxic exposure I have asked 3 times how I can get tested but noone in Fort Lauderdale has a clue. 3 times I have been directed to Miami VA, left voicemail messages but they don't return my call. I was stationed in upstate New York at Seneca Army Depot, It was a nuclear weapons post it may not be on the list but it should be. All of the animals on post were white... The deer the snakes the frogs and the fish. It's no longer a post but the that owns the land now does sightseeing tours because people are amazed to see white deer. No one thinks about the fact that we were stationed there and we drank the same water those white deer drank. And I am 57 and 4 years I have been having neurological issues that are unfounded so I can't help but wonder if it might be connected to the 2 years I drank that water

Discharged in April 1981 after 9 years in the Navy on Subs. Been dealing with issues for 45 years, Starting with Tinnitus, Hearing Loss, Hypertension. After 3 strokes in the past 11 years and associated complications it still does not feel like it has a high priority. I haven't been employable since 2015 and went on SSDI, thank God for SSA. Burned over 100K after 1st Stroke. Sold house to survive, In-laws had passed and we paid over 15K to move 4 states away.............it's been an adventure. Hope some of the fun is over.
