This is my favorite horror movie. A friend of mine invited me to see the movie in the theater. We went in the midday showing, so it was still daylight when we left for home. Neither one of us said a word on the drive home. I've seen the film countless times. It definitely sparked my love of found footage films (my favorite horror genre).

I remember this movie scared the hell out of me when I was about ten. Refused to rewatch it for years, and only last year decided "eh what the hell I'll watch it again." Man, ten year old me was afraid of nothing.

Jokes aside though, great breakdown as always, especially since this is a lot less mainstream in its mythos. Keep up the good work!

I was always told that you shouldn't pass the cairn on the left or you'll get sucked into the otherworld.

Great video. I've always loved The Blair Witch Project and everything its creators put together as background info. Awesome stuff!

Living in West Virginia Appalachia these days, so I appreciated this a lot. Once again, I love the breadth you show here. Nice editing, too.

I grew up in Sykesville so I'm always delighted to see a reference to the Sykesville monster. Honestly, growing up I never knew there were actual "sightings" associated with it, I just thought it was a playground urban legend.

I thought that was Jay from Jay and Silent Lunch Box in the thumbnail.

Great video SKIPPER, Interestingly the found footage method of narrative, mirrors earlier literary works like Frankenstein, where the saga is pieced together from discovered letters and journals. So now we have folklore for the storytelling vehicle too.

Just FYI, you missed the pilot with Heather, which clearly states the Celtic connections.
