  I thought that the dominant/reccessive gene clones was stupid...<br><br>... until I remembered that Solidus is the baseline clone, meaning that they were trying to find out if the genes that created the best soldier are reccessive or dominant. And if neither were the case, it would mean that Solidus would prove that the soldier genes were a combination of them rather than a single set of them.

  I always thought that Liquid being named Eli was a reference to Eliab, the brother of David, whom, despite having the same qualities as the previous king Saul, Samuel, under the orders from God, rejected the elder brother and anointed the younger brother as the next King of Israel.
