BTS has always had 7 members. They have 4 vocalists and 3 rappers. The first song was performed only by the vocal line, so only four of them were on stage.
During ON, V was injured and therefore sat on a chair. Normally, he performs as usual ☺️

You’re fun to watch. Trust us, this isn’t even close to hard choreo for them. So glad you’re enjoying BTS. I’m 70 and saw them in LA a few years ago. If you ever watch a behind the scenes of a concert performance, you’ll see that people backstage have oxygen at the ready for them. But you never see them look out of breath on stage.

The guy in the chair during ON was V. He was injured, so he couldn't fully dance. It has happened before that a member had to sit like that and they always talk about how much they hate that chair 😂

“Show me another group like BTS”…once you enter the rabbit hole there is no way back or to compare. Just enjoy the ride. No time to check others yet… you’ll be amazed and grateful… have fun!!

As you travel deeper down the rabbit hole of BTS, you will realize WHY they have a fan base of 100 million globally. I am 68 yrs old, my first loves were The Beatles, and have attended probably thousands of concerts in my lifetime. But I have NEVER seen the likes of these 7 amazingly talented yet humble men!! 🥹💜

And this performance of ON didn't even include the dance break! But was still awesome. You still haven't really seen their full out dancing.

Bts is known for being in sync by the millisecond. They work hard to make sure no one outshines the other, cuz let's be honest, they all have thier strong and weak points. But the beauty of this group is that they try so hard to blend in with each other rather than stick out.

The truth untold is a vocal line song!! So it’s just the 4 vocalists that are in the song but just like the vocalists there are also songs with only the 3 rappers :)

Korean groups don’t function the way western groups do. A lot of Korean groups have “sub-unit” songs on their albums where it might just be 2 members, or 3. And then there will be other sub-unit songs either on the same album or subsequent albums that feature the other members in small groups which are also fluid and might include different combos for different albums. Kpop albums will also sometimes include solo songs by each member even though it’s a group album. BTS has a trio of albums called The Love Yourself series, where all 7 members had solo songs but they were divided up between the three albums. They also perform these solo and sub-unit songs at their concerts, which gives the other members a small break, because these concerts are 3 full hours of high energy, with 75% of the songs having demanding choreography. It also gives the members a chance to shine individually and stand out from the group in their own way, which helps keep any of the members from feeling like they are being overshadowed.

3:59 You will never see BTS fighting for the spotlight. They would rather support each other.
7:47 I love all of their voices for different reasons, but Jungkook's voice here always feels like home to me.
9:48 This is the vocal line. 4 vocalists, 3 rappers. Often their songs are a combination of singing and rapping, but there are some songs that are only one or the other.
