  Corrections/Notes:<br><br>1. You can use a chute to put 5 buckets on a juice press to get 5x the juice. Just make sure it is full of berries first or you will be crushing buckets<br><br>2. You can put an archimedes screw under a pulverizer to fill and power it. Also you can power pulverizers from the bottom with axles.<br><br>3. You can use chutes to put items in blocks you shouldnt. Notably the omak table which can hold 225 STACKS OF ITEMS. Other block include hen box, bookshelves, scroll racks, wall mounts, display cases, vertical racks, shelfs, ceramic planters, etc.<br><br>4. Using chutes you can put anything in the fuel slot of a forge and it actually works. The burn temperature and burn duration is all the same

  Automating the trough is GREAT if you have a sizable herd of females to get pregnant. &nbsp;Throw a stack or two of food in the chest and by the time it’s eaten all the females are burdened with babies.

  Quern works like a chest from the bottom so you don’t need to put blocks beside it

  It&apos;s not automation related, but I consider it as another shenanigans that will probably will be patched some day. Small throughs cost only 3 boards, but they burn much longer for resources you need to build it than burning firewood, raw logs, boards or blocks of them and any other craftable out of wood that can be burned. It&apos;s very efficient way to use your fuel for cooking.

  the trough is the very very first thing i automate as soon as i get a little bit of copper just because i usually build a pen that separates adults and babies ( <br>AUTOMATED Generations Separation Update - Vintage Story Tutorial - by The Odd Ape Gaming ) and i don&apos;t really wanna mess with male sheep of any kind because they don&apos;t even like to be given food... and since getting dairy nutrition is SUCH an infernal PAIN you want to start as early as possible.

  I did automate the trough in the past, i was on a public server and i wanted for my animals to keep breeding while i was offline, and this became a really good solution, plus i fed them with flax grain cause i had soo much spare flax grain from my flax farm that it became a win win situation

  quern: we would put the power on top, leave all sides open and use stairs or chiseled blocks to ramp the product into a central hopper.<br>transport duct: no idea why, i want to say click from below.<br>good work. i love seeing vids like this.

  This is all great, but as a note to others about to build a lot of automation:<br>Build your automations at least a few dozend blocks away from your base, because all automation components are LOUD.

  You don&apos;t need an archimedes screw for quern input, just funnel a trunk (or more) in through the top of the quern. Much better for mass processing of grain rather than being constrained and slowed by the archimedes screw.
