  I am the proud owner of the Fyne Audio Vintage Classic XII, which just arrived 2 weeks ago. I heard them at a good friends place, who demonstrate some brands for a distributor at home, as he has a wonderfull balanced listening space. It is about 2 years ago, and somehow i forgot about them, as the pricetag was to much for what i was capable off. Fast forward too Nov. 24` were i had the chance to buy a demo VC XII and i went  for it. It took me a couple of months, before i could finance it, and in the meantime, i had the chance to hear the 704, same place as where i heard the VC XII. OMG...this is not just a "big brother", it´s so much more. These are potent ans can sound like a very good PA system, and i have never heard a speaker, coming this close to LIVE experience. Wauvv i must say. They seem to be impossible getting "tired", and never sounds compressed or something similar. And in real, they are very very beautiful and well builded.   Fyne audio is something really special, their ranges do absolutely demolish everything ive ever heard. Makes you allways wanna get up and dance to tunes! Ive never experienced that before

  The best, and briefest, story I read concerning the founding of Fyne Audio explained that the management team of Tannoy decided to strike out on their own when they were asked to design and build a speaker to a particular price point rather than to a particular specification. I absolutely love my F701’s but these are next level. When that lottery win comes in…

  This assessment is largely true. Heard these at AXPONA and was very impressed. Musical, large soundstage, dynamic. I do find that I hear a subtle grain with many of the systems with Fyne speakers. However there are so many factors at play, including the electronics (often tubes), it is difficult to pinpoint the root. Still very impressive.

  I’d like to see a series similar to the Tannoy’s D500, D700 and D900, something large, more cost effective, mid tier and retro at the same time.
