  I was gifted a couple expensive teacups from Japan that I use for looseleaf tea. They are curved inside on the bottom with a nice slope to the side wal. This shape allows you to scoop out the spent tea leaves perfectly with your four fingertips. I hate using flat inside bottom mugs/cups for loose leaf tea because it requires a lot of water to get the leaves out, which then results in big chunks going down the drain. The Japanese know what they are doing with the curved bottoms!

  I love your commentary and prefer the "slower" real time format.  Your way of explaining things has helped my throwing considerably.   And, easier editing for you means more awesome videos for us!!slower

  I throw on various sizes of floor tiles, easy to clean, and they stack well. If I need a wide, flat plate wider than the tiles I do have, I do have other bats. I am a very small community studio, and I have to make the most of my space.Love the overhead cam.

  The effect with your "slow turning" throwing disc appears because it's nearly synchronized with the shutter speed of your camera. The video has, for example, 60fps, so it takes 60 pictures per second. If the throwing disk also spins with nearly 60RPM (or 120, 180, 240RPM...), the pictures the cam takes always show the same position of the disk. If there is a small deviation, like 60fps and 61RPM or 59RPM, it looks like the disk is really slowly spinning forwards or backwards 🤓😉

  I believe it looks like its standing still because the framerate you recorded at matches the speed the wheel is moving at.
