  In my imagination, there was a time in the last century when the sheds of England were half filled by men with spanners building one-off marvels like this. <br>The Triton and Metisse, and all the other purposeful hybrids.<br>Maybe we live in an age where there is less necessity and more ‘lifestyle choice’.. modern equipment is designed to fail, or at least as in this case, make us buy 2 bikes neither of which is perfect. In truth, for most of us the Unicorn needs to be imagined and built according to our needs and capabilities as anything off the peg is someone else’s idea. <br>All that being said, 2/3 of the world are happy trundling about on mopeds. We are blessed, indeed.<br>Fantastic build!

  I remember reading the tread almost a decade ago, the &quot;loom of DOOM&quot; was such a cliff-hanger, I held my breath when reading it, you and the 2-3 other chaps that did are absolutly legendary in my mind.<br>I always speak of the CRF500L that someone (you) built, that would be the unicorn &quot;do-it-all&quot; bike.<br>TLDR: you are awesome for doing it, and holding on to it

  I owned Honda&apos;s first twin cylinder dual sport, the SL350. Rode it everywhere and wish I had it back.

  My first bike was a cbr500r, and that engine is absolutely fantastic. I&apos;d absolutely believe that having it bolted into a dual sport frame would be incredible fun. Well done dude, that&apos;s great

  Honda had an xr750 in the 80&apos;s. it was a v twin and a pig .This is a great build ! You are on to something .
