The vice presidency is a dream role for someone like me. It allows you to be high up in the government and to become a part of your nation's history, while still keeping the stakes manageable. It's important to dedicate your life to your country, but achieving this position requires years of hard work behind the scenes. I have always admired this job and all the details that come with it.

I think its worth pointing out that of the nine vice presidents to have succeeded suddenly to the presidency, SIX of them had been vice presidents for just eight months or less!
