  Nice little video Mikey. Lovely method.Tried it last year after watching Joe Carras catching.  Never got on with it then but watching you has made me want to try again. I think the way you fished it with a rig with shots on is the way forward.  Thanks.

  About 15 years ago, my local water had 300 F1s stocked,, and for a couple of years, you couldn&apos;t catch one as they hid away in a reed bed, but the next year they were 2-3ilb.<br> A year later some were pushing 4lb, I had a wicked session one day, a small feeder with ground expander and some maggots, and a maggot on the hook and they were hitting it straight away.<br> I had 29 of them in 105 minutes and then the large carp moved in, and I had 4 of them the largest 22lb on 6lb line and a 4lb hooklength, this wasn&apos;t a commercial, it was an old clay quarry that my local club leased..<br>The same year, they were netted overnight by eastern Europeans, who killed anything that wasn&apos;t a carp and left them on the bank, they destroyed the water.

  I use 6mm bread punch with brown bread with exactly the same rig. Great for carp.

  i found this out by accident really, the micros in the corner of my bait tub had gone mushy so rolled some up and instant bite 👍
