  My dad had this album.  Bought new.  I loved it.  When my parents passed away I franticly searched for it, but to no avail.  So happy to see uploaded on YouTube. The sound played back on our 1960 Grundig console stereo was a "Dream".

I must have listened to the music of this era in a past life. That&apos;s because there are vivid images in my mind, and listening to this music brings those images back to life perfectly.

  Such beautiful music! &nbsp;I have not heard the Wayne King Orchestra before, and I instantly fell in love with this album. This is the best arrangement of instruments for orchestral music. <br><br>Reminds me of the album - &apos;Honeymoon in South America &apos; from the Rio Carnival Orchestra, which was one of the first records to enter our &nbsp;home here in Southern India, back in the late eighties, when we bought our first record player. &nbsp;<br><br>Thank you for this and more such beautiful orchestral music. Makes me wish that i could somehow be transported back in time to 1958, when this album was released, so that i could spin the newly released Vinyl on the player and enjoy it in the atmosphere of that era.😃

  The perfect title for this album - Wonderful selections - The arrangement of &quot;Around The World&quot; is lovely. Even the cover is perfect.

  I remember elevators used to have music and this was the kind of music they would have in them. Also grocery stores back in Jersey like Shop Rite in the 80s used to have music like this, but more Barry Manilow type. Now this is the kind of ironic music they use for Horror movies, the way Kubrick used in &quot;The Shining.&quot; The good ol days of redlining, segregation, nuclear testing, and Korean war vets trying to get on w their lives while being completely forgotten.
