  The hammer head shark one is quite literally genius to me because the skate board is supposed to be it’s eyes while the collar shirt area its mouth. Making the whole thing the outline of the head.

  usually when rinotuna makes character design, he would breakdown the elements not only from the colors or shapes of the reference, he would also think what people usually use the reference for/the abstract feeling/ emotions you relate the reference to day-to-day life/first thing you thought of the reference. <br><br>the flytrap = kind of reminds you of punk &gt; tartan patterns &gt; sharp, electric green and pink <br><br>the toasted marshmallow &gt; warm feeling &gt; fire &gt; cold place <br><br>tendrils on the nautilus &gt; shaped like a long, spiky fur, kinda like hair/crown<br>patterns on the nautilus shell &gt; inspired by tribal elements(?)<br><br>aside from that, he also did some research of the reference he uses, like the origin of the reference historically/geographically

  On the lily of the valley character, my understanding is that the korean word for it is 은방울 which translates to &quot;silver droplets&quot;. This is where all the water and droplet motifs came from. I do not know korean, so plz correct me if I&apos;m wrong.<br><br>A lot of the outfits do a lot of interesting things with <b>where</b> things are found. For the venus flytrap, for instance, you only find bugs on the inner surface of the character, like the inner side of the wings (the outside/backside didn&apos;t have any bugs as far as I saw) and inside the skirt. The party popper limited the color palette on the outside, and all the rainbowy colors were internal, like the inner sleeve ruffles and the hair popping out from under the hat!<br><br>I&apos;m so glad you covered rinotuna. They are one of my favorite modern artists and I hope even more people love their art too after this video.
