  Michael getting mad about not having sex when he is pretending to go to work, not cooking, not taking care of the kids, not taking things off her plate to help her take time to workout etc. he’s a selfish child

  The therapist seems determined to convince Yasmin to be more accommodating of Mike’s wants and needs while not trying nearly as hard to call Mike out on his poor financial management, misogynistic division of labour and lack of empathy for his partner’s feelings

  Free Yasmin!!! This man is selfish and the therapist is incompetent. I&apos;m really happy you&apos;re breaking this down because this is a perfect example of how dangerous this facade of therapy is. Putting blame on Yasmin for trying to keep her house from falling into literal financial ruin, sets a dangerous precedent in their relationship.

  Men trying to override a woman&apos;s personal insecurities (and gain access to sex) with comments like &quot;but <b>I</b> find you sexy&quot;, is just repackaged patriarchy. They&apos;re subtly trying to reinforce that it is a man&apos;s standards that determine your value, and offering &quot;permission&quot; to see yourself in the light they choose.

  Another baby is sadly not happy news. I can&apos;t see them together for the long term. God knows what the backlash of this show will be and how it will affect his fragile self esteem when he sees ppl can see how disappointing of a partner he is. Good luck to her.

  I&apos;m not a therapist by any means, but just my humble-lived experience, opinion is; Mike wasn&apos;t being vulnerable, he was being manipulative. &nbsp; If something bad was revealed about him, he would interject how terrible it made him feel, to discourage any harsh (and fair!) responses. The sad part is, he knows Yasmine will tolerate it and that&apos;s why he stays with her. That therepist completely coddled him, and placed the onus on Yasmine. He&apos;s such a 🐍

  Yasmin also states explicitly that she is not comfortable in her body, and doesn&apos;t feel sexy or beautiful, and then we find out that this man &quot;flirts&quot; by flicking and pinching her body? What on earth goes through his head to think that is going to be received well and make her feel good and desirable??? Everything about this man is childish and exhausting

  I&apos;m trying so hard to maintain empathy for Mike, but it&apos;s frustrating how much he centers the conversation on his feelings when he&apos;s CLEARLY the source of several of the issues. If I had lied about getting fired, opted not to use my severance checks to take care of my family, and instead chose to sneak home to play video games...well...I&apos;d honestly be happy if my fiance didn&apos;t bludgeon me in my sleep 😂<br><br>I definitely wouldn&apos;t complain about the lack of intimacy.
