For non hockey people with questions:

Rempe(73 blue) threw a bad hit on one of the Devils players last time they played, and refused to fight when MacDermid(23 white) tried to get him after. The Devils weren't happy about that so tonight Travis Green(Devils Coach) started his most physical players, and Peter Laviolette (Rangers coach) responded in kind. What you see in the video is the result of that 10 times out of 10, especially when the teams are rivals who just played a physical 7 games series in the playoffs last year.

All those fans who showed up late learned an important lesson on time management.

I'm so disappointed when I go to a fight and a hockey game breaks out.

Imagine being 21 and having a tilt like that at center ice in the garden. Love this kid. Good on the rest of the boys for being all in with him that’s a team

That escalated quickly. It was hockey for a few seconds than turned into a Royal Rumble melee.

My 2 year old watches the first few minutes of sports with me every night before he goes to bed. When the fights started he was confused and then shaking his finger telling them "no, no!" By the end of it, he had the biggest smile on his face and asked for more. So we rewound the tape and watched it again. And he asked for more. I explained that only hockey players are allowed to fight but I'm worried about daycare today...
