  There are literally 2 types of wood elves players:<br><br>The i shoot you into pieces kind<br>and the<br>run for your life because an army of trees is coming.<br><br>A lot of those takes depent heavily on thr category you fall in.

  If anyone was wondering branchwraiths are incredibly important to recruit if you’re running high elf armies or cavalry meme stacks because of the casualty replenishment they provide on the campaign map, these hero types tend to be quite bad but necessary and I’ve noticed these guides never take that into consideration which could be harmful to players who take alot of casualties if the advice is not to recruit them

  I love using Sisters of the Thorn as support for Wild Riders. You can more than double the effect of the spell, shield of thorns, by stacking an overcast shield of thorns from a spellsinger combined with the sisters ability on the Wild Riders. Watch the Riders just decimate dangerous units with this combo. At that point the support abilities are numerous with healing from the spellsinger and armor buff spells as well as the Sisters debuff ability. I typically target the scariest unit the enemy has with this combo early

  Something situational but very strong with all large Wood Elves units is that they have the forest strider trait so they take no penalty from fighting in forest making them kinda anti large, since as long as they fight in forest the large enemy unit will be debuffed while they&apos;re fine.<br><br>It&apos;s especially good for the cav units which are usually fast enough to chose who and where they fight.

  I love to play woodelf armys with no more than 3 or 4 ranged units. Or Even none. Nice spear front line, couple of dancers in the back. Or a lot of cav.

  I like the Branchwraith actually. I play it as a duelist too, that can buff the front line, or heal your elite units. Pretty good.

  Finished a while campaign with Drycha, conquering whole map. Only recruited dryads, treekin and treemen

  I love the swiftshiver shard guys. They do a ton of damage. A little less range, imo, makes almost no difference.

  Dryards with their magical attacks are your anti-ghost and anti-demon unit until you get better units
