The guy in the yellow suit is not Bully, the purple one is! The guy in the yellow suit is Christian Tramitz. The "Pierce Brosnan" is a famous German actor called Sky DuMont. :)

I always like to quote my ex boss when i worked at a cinema: He was Gay and built that cinema up with his partner, and one of their both favorite movies of all time is that movie. He once said -when we talked about it, that he felt like back then ppl were actually more cool about those things, its obviously a parody movie and isnt aimed to offend some1. its just comedy. He also felt that nowadays ppl get offended to quickly by harmless stuff and lose focus on the real problems of discrimination.

The Spock parody is Bully... and the way he's talking is a Bavarian dialect with an effeminate gay overlay.

And the tent scene from Austin Powers... LEGENDARY 🤣

This movie is one of the staples of my childhood. I pity anyone who doesn't get all the jokes in it because they aren't native german speakers r born too late. To younger people born after the turn of the millennium this movie must be absolute cringe.

It's still one of our favourite films, together with Schuh des Manitu! This year there will be a second movie called " Das Kanu des Manitu" . ( The manitu's canoe)

Traumschiff Surprise originates in Michael Bully Herbigs sketch comedy show called "Bullyparade", that was very popular int he late 90s and early 00s. Michael Bully Herbig also has an YouTube channel with lots of sketches and snippets of the show. Unfortunately they don't have English subtitles.
