I think the reason why Godzilla didn't attack Tokyo when it went into a black out, is because he might have thought that the lights were other kaiju threatening him. Godzilla uses his glowing dorsal spines as an intimidation display. So to him, seeing something close to his size flashing lights at him is a challenge.

Makes you wonder if the Titanus Gojira species are not the only ones who use bioluminescence to communicate.

It’s been said a few times before that godzillas roar is so powerful that being near him when he lets out a yell could literally cause your lungs to explode because of the sudden and immense change in air pressure

Manda is a Chinese dragon. It's got 4 little feet on really little legs, but still moves mostly like a snake. Appeared in a few films, including Destroy All Monsters in the late 60s.

To answer about the lights; it came from the first two godzilla films where man-made bright lights enraged him, possibly because they reminded him of the bright flash of the Hydrogen Bomb test...which is added to as, in this world, the light also killed his son.

"...Build a mech suit, like Pacific Rim."

One name for ya, Baz: Mechagodzilla. A novel thought, really. I mean, in terms of how well it may work... the movies speak for themselves.

Putting Legendary Godzilla into footage like this *chef's kiss* ...They should make a whole movie like that. He looks stunning in black and white..

I absolutely love the idea that in this universe, King Kong is instead a documentary feature!
