You start by saying that this is for beginners. But in 45 years of (attempted) music making, this is the first thing that's truly inspired me to really think about what it is that I'm doing.

Oscar, IMO you are the single most valuable resource for electronic music production on Youtube, period. No other channel that I know explains their concepts like you do, clear as glass. When I'm done watching your videos I've understood the concept and I know exactly what I have to do. You're such a great teacher.

Oscar, I've been watching your content for a while and have been creating music for a few decades. I still found this lesson to be useful. Its always good to return to the basics and remember your foundational concepts. We as humans love to complicate things and I feel this was a perfect example of KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid). Really nicely done. Thank you for sharing this and all that you do.

Pure GOLD!! This is years of knowledge right there guys. This is something that, when you're learning to produce on your own through YouTube, you end up absorbing unconsciously at some point along the journey, through thousands of hours of practice and finished tracks. Having it explained this clearly, and on top of that for free, saves you a lot of headaches trying to understand why your grooves feel messy.

Thank you so much for this lesson! I’ve been producing for quite a few years already and was already familiar with the concepts explained, but even so, this video helped me visualize and understand everything even better. Thank you so so much!!
