So yeah, almost a year later, but just so you know that people out there still pay attention and watch all the way through: duck. :)

Holy Duck! I've been watching this guy repair game boys for days and now I find myself looking up soldering irons, tiny screwdrivers and broken handhelds. What have you done to me?

Edit: duck.

To repair the traces on the board you can do one of two things. The first is scrape away the masking, run a couple strands of stranded wire down the line of the trace and tack them in place to complete the connection. The second thing you can do is jump a wire from one side of the broken trace to the other. It's really not that difficult, and if you want to see someone do it before you try it I suggest watching 'retro repairs' videos on YouTube.

Awful shame for the people who DUCKed out of the video early! They will never know the secret. I do genuinely love that hair dryer, though.

I know I'm late to this party, but I think it's a fantastic restoration! You've got to do what you've got to do. In the end, this is for you and you're the one that needs to be happy with this.

At first I didn’t think that the microphone made a difference but I watched one of your other videos and your new microphone is great

Thanks for being honest and just saying you couldn’t fix the motherboard. That’s very refreshing to see on a restoration channel!
