Pity the BBC can't produce such quality videos instead of the banal tripe they usually screen. Excellent work, thank you.

I don't know if YouTube do such but this deserves a Content Of The Year Award. It's an astonishing video.

This is fantastic! I've watched all your Ladybower/Derwent videos on this subject and this a perfect amalgamation of them. Fascinating, poignant and full of information, thank you.

Congratulations Ant, what a wonderful compilation! All the images that show what once was combined with all your recent tours give a quite complete impression of that area - today and in the past. A pleasure to watch and captivating emotional journey as well.

thankyou, my granmother used to tell us stories about those villages, people swimming out to the church tower and ringing the bell, and further walking through the gardens of the hall, and other buildings, amazing to see the preserevation, ive seen it a few times, in full flood and low, great video

The vicarage would have made a lovely tourist centre imagine all the photos and the stuff from the village a lost opportunity.

How can you understand and explain such tragic destruction when in other parts of the world desalination is normal for large populations when we are an island typical ‘Great Britain’ so sad. An important historic and informative video for future generations nice work Ant.👍👏

Thanks for the re look at the Ladybower area. I love all your video's, but these are among my favourites. I can't imagine what it was like to watch the water slowly cover the place where you lived.

I know we need to progress but seeing these wonderful communities demolished & submerged hurts my heart, I can't imagine how the residents felt. Beautiful video, well done.

Your photography is so beautiful and your choice of music amazingly fitting, so moving making this video a fitting tribute to the lost communities of this area.
