That time again to clarify for you all at home that there's no AI used for this. The footage was upscaled but there is no interpolation or AI generative stuff. The flickering is not from anything I did, that's just how the footage is. Sadly, this cartoon especially hasn't been very well preserved and I didn't have access to any tape that was much better, so it was either enhance what I had or have it be blurry and difficult to make out. Picked door number 2 but if it's THAT distracting I'll try to avoid doing it next time. Don't wanna upset or scare you guys that I've gone all tech bro on ya.
Sorry babes <3

I like how Peter’s objection to a long term relationship isn’t anything personal, but just his cynical nihilistic knowledge over the fact that the gods who control his existence despise him and refuse to let him be happy.

She hinted at a relationship, immediately dies.

It’s so darkly funny that spidey immediately skips straight to acceptance and just starts quipping because it’s the only safe coping mechanism he has

“Does she have any powers or anything?!”

Oh, so that’s why the 90’s series made her a super soldier.

3:41 i like how JJJ didn't immediately pin her death on Spider-Man 😂

“Girlboss your way into being head of a crime syndicate” is either already a movie in Hollywood or will be in a few years

It's funny: Spiderman tried to save her by turning her down, but the moment she made the earnest offer, she was already doomed

Sad/cruel fact: In the comics, when Spider-Man was chasing Black Cat, she pretended to propose to him. He was left stunned and while caught off guard, she slashed his legs and left him hurt. Physically and emotionally.

Holy shit I got through most of the video (around 3:10) and realized they have a female voice actor.

Friendly reminder that Spidey and Black Cat's shtick is so routine that when Doc Ock took over Spider-Man's body in "Superior Spider-Man," Felicia was genuinely flabbergasted when Spidey (Ock at the time) punched and apprehended her
