Robinson, I don't know what precisely itis, but you definitely are one of the very best hosts I've ever watched. Unpretentious, curious, patient, and open-minded all play a part.... Thank you!

Great job by Robinson in setting up this discussion and not interrupting the conversation/debate.

really nice to finally see a juggernaut like David taking Jacob's theory seriously.

I need to listen to David Alberts points 3 or more times and I love it

I would have loved to hear something about Jacob's theory. Like, one complete sentence without being interrupted.

This is gold... I wish we had a similar conversation between Stephen Wolfram and an equally prepared David Albert or Tim Maudlin. Those deep, piercing discussions over a new theory, where you have a world-class philosopher of science probing a new theory, in a conversation which travels from the minute to the macro, and from history to theory. Amazing!

Almost an hour in and I still think we're working with different perspectives one being completely global and the other being discreet, more later. David is including the entire universe in his representational space, Jacob is speaking about a much narrower and discreet descriptive representational space. This 1:34:16 is seemingly a argument between a orthodox religious perspective and a evolving religious perspective.

Thank you everyone for sharing your time, work, experience and knowledge, David, Jacob and Robinson, wonderful dialog gentlemen, cheers

Saved this to the library Robinson, thank you again

If there's anything to take away from this, it's that there's a great respect to given here to both Jacob and David for the attempts at bridging the gaps between philosophy and physics.
