I find Brian Greene extraordinarily courteous.

Thanks for continuing to post content for free on YouTube.
I really appreciate the summary of the history and state of play of physics which is accessible to the lay person.
Mere words are insufficient to express my gratitude for access to conversations like this!

One of the best WSF I've seen in a while. I could listen to Maudlin for hours. Great video!

Greene discusses physics with Tim Maudlin. The internet has redeemed itself.

If I could have a conversation with anyone, it would be these two.
My unending gratitude to Dr. Greene and Maudlin, with WSF team, for such great content!

it's mind blowing that "is it even a theory" took this long to be asked and answered.

First Raphael Bousso now Tim Maudlin. Two philosophers who have recently been critical of the old guard Brian is perceived to be a representative of. Kudos to him for having them on.

00:32:24 - This is the quote from Einstein: "It seems hard to sneak a look at God's cards. But that He plays dice and uses 'telepathic' methods.. is something that I cannot believe for a single moment."

I’ve probably watched 2 dozen interviews with Prof Maudlin. I wondered how I missed this one. I only missed it by an hour! TY!

1:11:40 The clarity and cogency implied by his enumeration of three mutually incompatible principles and how each of the major approaches gives up on one of them is so overwhelming, I could cry. Tim Maudlin has my deepest respect for his apparently encyclopedic knowledge about the history of physics and how he is on top of the theories to such a high level that he is able to sharpen the arguments to such a degree of clarity. Truly marvellous and I am grateful that this channel allowed me to learn from him. Brian Greene also has his head screwed on properly like few of modern physicists do.
