A lot of people interpret Keicho's final words as not just being insulting to Okuyasu. Keicho already accepts and condemns himself as a murderer; he couldn't give up the Bow & Arrow to Josuke because if he did, then every death he caused with the Bow & Arrow would be for nothing. However, despite how harshly he treated Okuyasu, Keicho clearly did care for him - if he hadn't, he would've let Okuyasu die to RHCP rather than save him at the cost of his own life. More likely than not, Keicho's threat to kill Okuyasu was a hollow one instead meant to distance Okuyasu from Keicho so he wouldn't stay with his brother in this life of murder and secrecy.

When Keicho says to Okuyasu, "You were always holding me back!", that's his harsh, tough-love way of telling Okuyasu that he held his older brother back from becoming a true monster, not from achieving his goals; His way of finally relieving Okuyasu from his Bad Company.

The thing that got me the most finding out about Okuyasu's dad the first time around is that if Jotaro didn't remove the fleshbuds, that would have been Kakyoin and Polnareff too.

remember, if jotaro wasn't a master brain surgeon, this would be the fate of kakyoin AND polnareff

If you think about it there are probably many more other people just like Okuyasu's dad and none knows.

Josuke most likely can't fix their dad because there's not technically anything wrong with him. It's not like he's broken or injured, his body is functioning fine he's just mutated into something else. It's like if he had a sickness, Crazy diamond can't fix that since it's just a foreign body attacking the cells he can't remove those he can only fix broken things.

To me Part 4 is really when Araki finds his place with the series. Parts 1 thru 3 are awesome action packed adventures but lacked a greater sense of meaning, where part 4 and onward has more depth and better character writing. When you compare Part 3 Dio to Part 4 and Part 7s primary atangonists, it isnt even close
