Ah, the long tradition of testing unknown compounds on grad students.

Man, I LOVE that gorgeous magenta colour of the a-Cl-AcetylAnilide! You always make some of the best videos on chemtube. I wish i could make videos even close to this

Awesome video, you definitely earned a new subscriber! I love how in depth you cover how each step was developed, the purpose of each step, and those nifty physical observations and what they actually mean especially during the workup. I find a lot of videos don't tend to cover these things that in depth, and they are pretty important skills for chemistry students to learn that I feel aren't taught or highlighted as explicitly as they should sometimes. Bonus points for the historical bit at the beginning, I personally love using history to put chemistry in context especially since a lot of it is lowkey insane.

마취제 하나 만드는것도 이렇게 어렵군요.. 저는 99정 먹고 두통 심해서 접었고 지금은 마르문만 석달째, 부작용 없이 조습니다

    Horror stories start this way.
Also some really fun times. Then horrible times. Then "which one was that where's the sink?"
