  My mom just passed away after having noticeable brain changes due to Alzheimers for about 10 years. When it became impossible to care for her at home, she lived in a memory care facility for 2+ years.  The monthly charges just increased to 15k+ per month!! There has to be a way to care for those with this terrible disease without bankrupting families.

  My sweet husband was diagnosed with early on-set Alzhiemers in 2012 at 60. He passed in 2018. I was his sole caregiver, and I learned so about what is available in our American society for those of us who become overwhelmed by this condition, both patient and caregiver. He donated his brain to science at the OHSU Layton Aging & Alzhiemers Research Center in Portland, Oregon. His dear mom experienced almost exactly the same progression of this disease. Is there evidence that it is inherited?

  Disappointed with  the sale of Neodyne how complicated it was and ended up with more than I wanted  and in order to cancel I need to send it back & pay for shipping which really sucks. I'm 75 and this just too much !!!

  I work in the memory care industry for the past 12 years.  I work with families day in and day out that come to me seeking to place their loved ones.   I am now seeing a younger age demographic being presented to me that suffer from alz/dementia.  We are now starting to see baby boomers.   What is bothering is not seeing the State or Federal Gov't support families that cannot afford Memory Care facilities, they're extremely expensive.  Kudos to Bill Gates to get involved within this space.  Always been a fan of his historical presence and current contributions to mankind.

  My concern in if I get the blood test and then told I have the possibility of getting it, what is out there now to help me. I would hate to live my life knowing there is no cure and just become depressed. What should I do?

  I'm worried that I am at risk for Alzhiemers so I would love to be in a trail the more people that volunteer the quicker they solve the problem
