  Had a couple of hyaluronic acid injections in each knee over a couple of years and my knees are SO MUCH BETTER.

  I 100% see the point in ultrasound-guided injections, and how that could be a factor in the differing recommendations. Ever since the release of more portable US devices, I&apos;m very excited for the future, hearing things such as &quot;Ultrasound probes are the next stethoscopes&quot;!

  Its amazing how one doctor says one thing, another say something else . I remember a real doctor saying something one time, he said just because someone is a doctor doesn&apos;t mean their not a idiot.

  As a horse trainer I can testify that PRP has been a game changer in the rehabilitation of equine injuries especially in tendon and ligament injuries. &nbsp;Rehab times cut by 75% and I&apos;ve seen the results on the ultrasound. &nbsp;In so far as hyaluronic acid (Legend, brand name) it is not administered on site but with IV injection. &nbsp;Synovial fluid improvement can be seen throughout the entire horse. &nbsp;Couple with IM glycosaminoglycan injections are a powerful prophylactic in the working sport horse in the prevention of DJD. &nbsp;Corticosteroid injections are effective, although used sparingly, immediately shutting down inflammation in the affected area. &nbsp;All these therapies are to no avail if the horse is not worked correctly. &nbsp;My question is, if Dr. Peng runs across this post, if IV hyaluronic injections in a human would yield the same benefits as in a horse not just treating a specific area but the entire body? Just a thought....and thank you for your informative videos.

  Im 60 yrs old, diagnosed with Bilaterl Tricompartmental OA ( both knees ). Went in to get Cortisol shots. He was not the doctor, but like the Dr assistant. &nbsp;He gave me the shots in both knees. I screamed out in pain. The Cortisol shots only lasted 6 weeks for me. Went in for the hyaluronic acid injections, both knees, screamed out i. Unbelievable pain! I liked the guy but I truly dont think he knew how to give shots, maybe for someone else but, he even said, &quot; I wont be offended if you chose to get someone else. Oh I will....

  Had stem cell injections about 6-7 years ago 7k for both...as a UPS driver the discomfort was starting to return by the end of the work week. Had Synvisc one HA injections 2 weeks ago. Beginning to feel relief. Doctor said it would be 2-3 weeks before noticable improvement. I like that it is covered by my insurance and that I can have this done every 6-8 months.

  I had hyaluronic acid injections for knee osteoarthritis, first the left, then about two years later, the right. At the time of the injections the doctor (also a sports medicine doc) said that the therapies could be done again in a year if needed. Well, 10 years later and I’m just now starting to feel some mild discomfort in my right knee. The left is still ok. And even the right is ok as long as I’m careful with it. I’m scheduled to see the same doc this week for evaluation. It may or may not indicate that another treatment is or will be needed. But I’m so pleased with the results of the first treatments that if it’s needed, I’ll gladly go with it.

  Two years ago my wife was having hip pain. PT and steroid injections were not beneficial. We had a major European cruise requiring lots of walking upcoming in six months so she was in despair. She received two PRP injections. She was able to comfortably tour all the sights and is still pain-free.
