This is The Bee Gees era I prefer. Their hits from the 60s and early 70s.

Love the Bee Gees' early music especially 60's-70's. You are hearing Robin Gibb's voice in this song. He also sang lead on "I Started A Joke", "Massachusetts", "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" etc. Some of their other early hits were "Spicks & Specks", "New York Mining Disaster 1941", "To Love Somebody",  "Holiday",  "World", "And The Sun Will Shine", "Really & Sincerely", "Words", "The Singer Sang His Song", ""Lonely Days", "Melody Fair", "First Of May", "Give Your Best", "Lamplight" etc.

The guy in this song is on death row awaiting execution and he's trying to get a message to his girl before he dies. These brothers are such amazing songwriters. They have covered every life situation you could think of. Definitely the greatest group to ever exist...

I loved everything the Bee Gees did! Their music hit a lot of people with a lot of different ages, and I’m here 50 years later and still loving every minute of it❤

This was the first band when they moved back to England from Australia. Guitarist Vince Melouney and drummer Colin Peterson both from Australia.

When they first returned to England and signed with Robert Stigwood, he wanted them to be a band and added Colin Peterson as drummer.  The brothers wanted a lead guitar player and asked Vince Maloney to join them.  The brothers knew Colin and Vince in Australia and they were a 5 piece group for a couple of years.

Drummer Colin Petersen  and Vince Melouney main guitarist  (both Australian friends of the Bee Gees) THEY WERE OFFICIAL Contracted BEE GEES until they left the band by the time the brothers had their 1969 breakup.

Their younger brother, Andy, looked just like young Barry! It’s uncanny
