  Batista originally wanted to come in as a heel, he even pitched it, they never listened. Eventually when they heard the crowd reactions, that’s what convinced them to finally let him turn heel. Plus idk if it ruined his career, it just showed how selfless he was by putting over Bryan and the Shield. Plus the dude is a Hall of Famer and was too old and busy in Hollywood 2014 onwards to be a world champion anyway

  The Kurt thing was supposed to be shoot style not an actual shoot match. They were gonna do shoot wrestling aka amateur wrestling and go for a pin. But everyone knew the thing was gonna happen
