  This is the first movie where the act of giving Hermione all of Ron&apos;s lines is obvious. &nbsp;The end result is that Harry and Hermione grow as characters, and Ron doesn&apos;t. &nbsp;This gap between the three grows until the last film where it becomes hard to believe Ron and Hermione&apos;s relationship is real because Ron&apos;s growth happens off screen like all the other minor characters.

  In the book when Ron says Sirius will have to kill both of them I always imagined Hermione thinking, &quot;thanks for volunteering me to die without even checking with me first.&quot;<br><br>But in all seriousness book Ron is probably the most Gryffindor of the three. I&apos;m currently at the end of book six and I don&apos;t recall him whimping out once (I may very well have forgotten something so feel free to point it out). While book Hermione is often described as being scared in serious situations. Her courage comes from her staying despite being scared while I think it takes a lot to shake Ron.

  Ron&apos;s line of &apos;&apos;If you want to kill Harry, you&apos;ll have to kill us too!&apos;&apos; going to Hermione was annoying, wouldn&apos;t have minded if they said the same line at the same time as it shows them both being brave

  It&apos;s funny how they skipped Marauders&apos; names reveal, and then in the next movie Voldemort calls Peter by his alias, Wormtail. But nevermind that, in OotP movie when Umbridge catches our six heroes, Harry tries to tell Snape about Sirius&apos;s supposed predicament and says &quot;He&apos;s got Padfoot.&quot; How are we supposed to know who that &quot;Padfoot&quot; is? PoA movie only referred to him as one of the creators of Marauder&apos;s Map.

  Hermione had her own brave moments with Harry by the lake but they removed them only to add in fake brave moments belonging to Ron.<br>It&apos;s not just character assassination at this point. The movie creators had a vendetta.

  plus the fact we didn&apos;t get the backstory as to how sirius escaped from azkaban nor that lupin revealed that he&apos;s the one who drew the marauders map.

  They trade weird actions sequences like fighting the willow and chasing after the rat instead of giving us more of the Marauders story...and that is a disservice to the story. It&apos;s part of the reason people give credit to snape for putting himself in between the werewolf lupin and the trio, instead of throwing a fit because he didn&apos;t get revenge on his high school rivals... Plus Crookshanks is an unsung hero

  I was a hardcore book purist when I was a kid and Prisoner of Azkaban was my favorite of the Harry Potter books. When the movie came out, I hated it for all the blatant changes it made. Things like giving Lupin a weirdly serious relationship with Harry&apos;s mom, making Sirius act like a raving lunatic (until Harry starts to trust him), and even removing all the Firebolt/Quidditch stuff (not integral to the overall plot, but still important in the book) as well as making everything dirty absolutely infuriated me. I&apos;ve mellowed out since then, but it&apos;s still in my bottom 3 as far as the movies go.

  The movies assassinated Ron&apos;s character. He was a brave tactician in the books. And a whiny crybaby in the movies past book 3

  Music and cinematography, beautiful 10/10. The aesthetic of the movie is nice on its own, but its so drastically different from the first two. Even the castle&apos;s layout. I hated how drab and grey hogwarts became after this movie, even after the dementors left.
