  I&apos;ve only played 358/2 Days twice, (one of those times literally when it came out and I was in middle school) &nbsp;<br>but I completely forgot how different the movie is from the game until watching this video. &nbsp;<br>So much love and care was put into fleshing out the whole organization throughout the game. &nbsp;The movie really does not compare. &nbsp;It really is such a &nbsp;tragedy that most new KH fans will never get to experience the best Kingdom Hearts story in it&apos;s entirety.

  Yknow it kinda saddens me that we&apos;ll probably never get a follow-up on that &quot;don&apos;t be a stranger&quot; scene due to the death of Phil&apos;s JP voice actor

  The DS version of the game is the definitive experience of the story. The final scene with Xion &nbsp;did make me tear up when I first played it. The &quot;movie&quot; is a severely abridged version of 358/2 Days that really dampens that moment. The full story of 358/2 Days is even more tragic with the bombshell in Dream Drop Distance that the Organization members requiring Kingdom Hearts to acquire hearts was a complete lie. Roxas, Xion, and Axel without realizing it were regaining hearts, especially with Roxas being filled with rage at the lose of Xion was on a warpath to destroy the Kingdom Hearts that the Organization was attempting to create thanks to Xion and him.<br><br>358/2 Days is the game I point to as the prime example of why dismissing Kingdom Hearts as a family friendly kids game is hilarious to me. If this series was not attached to Disney, it would definitely be a lot darker.<br><br>So, if you want to experience the story, acquire the DS game. Copies rarely if ever sell for more than $30. There may be parts that feel like just busy work. That is 100% intentional.

  A cool thing I noticed from the scene where Roxas passes out in Agrabah, is that the movie fixed a plot hole! The shot of Naminé drawing in the white room doesn&apos;t make sense, since we see later on that DiZ and her only move to the mansion on a later date.

  Just wanted to say 358/2 Days was not only my childhood, but it also got me through freshman year in high school thanks to a friend of mine who needed help getting back to Ruler of the Sky(the fight made him so angry he reset the game). I know the game is divisive here in the states, but I still love the game to death, if not for nostalgia(this was the first Kingdom Hearts game I both saw commericials for and got for myself, while 1 and 2 were my brother&apos;s), it&apos;s for how ambitious its ideas truly were and it was just plain fun for Kingdom Hearts on the go.

  Day 354 is probably one of Wayne Allwine&apos;s last lines as Mickey in the KH series as he passed later on.

  As Chariii5 pointed out, it was a wasted opportunity to not have Xigbar pointing out to Roxas that he looks exactly like Ventus, considering he sees Ventus when looking at Xion during their fight, as well as getting reminded of Ventus’ battle stance when he first met Sora in KH2.

  So at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Godc2fHo820&amp;t=2079">34:39</a>, if you played the game when it was first released, Birth by Sleep comes after this game. So in contexts, we actually don&apos;t know Saix and Axel were best friends when you first play Days. Sorry, it&apos;s a tiny nick pick, but you&apos;re video is very well done! Amazing job! :)

  The gameplay might be less than desirable, but the story is spot on. <br>I love how you bring up the little details that are so profound because this is literally Roxas&apos;s life and how he has been trying hard for Xion and Axel&apos;s sake. How the way the organization treated Xion made Roxas become more and more disillusioned with it, and how Axel&apos;s white lies ended up fracturing his relationship with Roxas that Axel was not enough to stop Roxas from leaving and why Xion was the only one Roxas felt he could have ice cream with. <br><br>The day-to-day work as they try to finish and go have ice cream hits hard because whenever you see Roxas eating ice cream all alone, you feel bad and wish that they get back to normal and eat ice cream together again. Honestly, as you get older, 358/2 Days hits harder because you relate to the 9-5 work that you gotta do.
