  Im a retired army combat veteran myself and i hate my country. Dont get me wrong, i love the opportunity it gave me, but that should never overlook the atrocities that my country has committed to people of all demographics. I love living outside the US as ive done for 3 years but i will never forgive my country for the things we have done in both overt and covert ways. It is more unsafe than most countries now. Racists are throwing fits because they feel as though they are losing the country. Black people are still defending behaviors detrimental to black people. Every demographic contributes to the problems of America while passing the buck to other demographics/entities and i will never come off that hill. <br><br>Please understand, the US will destroy itself. It is inevitable.

  Awesome perspective and absolutely correct. I lived overseas 30 yrs. There’s a distinctive difference when living outside America. I appreciate everything America has bless me. I just feel more comfortable in my new environment now

On a small scale, I would get a small amount of what you&apos;re talking about when traveling the USA, I would get better or worse vibes about the area depending on where I was. so i could only imagine leaving the country would only magnify those perceptions. USA is a system, and that system is designed for a few to benefit from it while the rest are affected by it. When you travel to another country, your disconnected form that system, and you will realize.

  Great video. Perfectly explained the feeling or lack there of in America. <br>My want to slow down and REALLY enjoy life and the fruits of my life long labor, as I (we) should be able to home (America), is ONE reason SE Asia is calling me.

  I have been living outside of the U.S. for 5 years now and I recently went back for a visit and yes, you are correct! At first I told myself, of course things are going to feel different because I haven&apos;t been there in 5 years and during my whole 3 weeks there, the energy just felt off no matter how much I tried to make it not feel that way. It was almost depressing, the people were loud, they looked unkempt, they felt angry. And I know that someone who reads this who has never stepped &nbsp;foot outside of the U.S., except on a 3 day Carnival cruise, will feel offended, but it is hard to explain if you have never LIVED outside of the U.S for an extended period of time and then you come back. I feel at peace where I live. No place is perfect, but there are places where it is peaceful and right now for me, the U.S. is not that peaceful place.

  I feel quite rested even living in a big city (Los Angeles) but that&apos;s because I make money online, am self employed, have disposable income and am on my own schedule. I don&apos;t feel rushed at all. I have plenty of time to go to the beach or go hiking in the middle of the day.. If you have money,you can do whatever you want.
