Gene, I grew up in a household where I was mostly self taught auto repairs, upkeep and general care. Almost daily I had the hood up learning and looing for issues. Living in the snow belt ( Phila. PA burbs) you knew to get your vehicle ready for winter in October and April you did recovery from winter care. Since I was blessed with newer Mustang then Corvette you learned what wore out quickly and replaced in October and / or April. Did my own oil changes, brakes and tune ups so this keep me aware of greasing and other early signs. In my 20s I went into white collar work but made sure my vehicles were serviced. At age 71 I raised my 2 children stay ontop of general care. Owned many vehicles and one company I owned required 40K miles plus a year in driving. Often my vehicles would last close to 500K miles just from proper care and up keep. Now I drive a 1995 Silverado with over 236K and I am under the hood several times a week.....runs good. I use your tips as I am still learning. THANK YOU, Joe in Delaware.

Gene, at 73 I'm still changing my oil, doing the brakes and checking everything! I bought a lift 4 years ago to save my back.  I have 5 vehicles on the road and take good care of them I enjoy all of your videos, they keep me on my toes, and still teach me things I didn't know. You can never stop learning! 😊
