Cyberpunk has always been a warning but for some damn reason rich people see it as a goal. 😵💫

Cyberpunk was supposed to be a WARNING, not a playbook!

The Zoli Barnes bit was a reference to the House of Cards series, the character in the show is called Zoe Barnes and she dies in the same way.

One of the best cyberpunk video channels out there so many details I didn’t know about. I will be interested how much lore Orion will have to discuss in the future

Ok so possible explanation is that Netwatch requisitioned NCPD vehicles so that the public wasn't alerted to anything. Usually if Netwatch is hunting someone they did something REALLY bad on the net(or just upset someone high up in a corp like Songbird). The last thing they'd want to do is draw the eye of every civillian in the area when they hunt down someone who in their mind has one of their dirtiest secrets.

I feel like you're making Bree responsible for Militech being murderous corpos. Even then, Militech getting an AI superweapon will absolutely result in thousands of deaths and things getting infinitely worse. Also, nothing Dante says can be trusted as he has one goal in that room, kill Bree and the borged out walking tank beside her is a huge problem for him.

i think the Media role in cyberpunk is so underrated and ignored. maybe i'm biased because i'm a journalist, but I would kill to get the chance to be a media in Cyberpunk 2

If you really wanna "save" some of the people in the lore you gotta take the path that "benefits" you most eliminate both bree and dante. Bree sells you out further down the line meaning you gotta deal with 2nd rate netwatch assassin's for "helping" her by killing dante. Giving a megacorp any sort of edge is bad thing in my books. So instead treat it like a gig what that gives you the most bang for your buck. Sometimes it pays to be greedy and staying alive without accumulating too many enemies.

Ive tried watching more of the broadcasts throughout my several play throughs but it really feels like I see so many of the same clips or am bombarded by the in game ads. Just like real life without an ad blocker 🏴☠️

you missed out on lyle thompson from johnny silverhand days and cyberpunk 2020 era media has SO MUCH more to explore in the lore of that era. great coverage so far. Honestly when you see the lore behind them and take out both bree and her assassin with johnny saying he wouldve approached that differently I am of the mind to tell johnny sure like you didn't deal with journalists like lyle thompson the same way?

I take issue with one thing said about Regina. Specifically on saving the cyberpsychos, because of a detail we don't find out until the cyberpsycho gig bullets, and even then, only if we know the early marketing for the game. Most of the cyberpsychos that go through recovery, become max-tac agents, who are all as violent as they come, because they are all cyberpsychos, and max-tac does more harm than good, as they serve to reinforce the evils of corporations, rather than solving the problem, which means everything good regina does ultimately gets more than negated by saving the cyberpsychos. keeping the cyberpsychos alive for the most part actually helps enforce the status quo. There's a few exceptions, but it's very case-by-case.
