  River&apos;s personal quest to find his nephew is not Silence of the Lambs, it&apos;s based on a 2000 movie called The Cell. A thriller in which a therapist, played by Jennifer Lopez, has to dive into the mind of a comatose serial killer so she can discover the location of victims that haven&apos;t been found yet. The whole thing leads to a lot of mindfuckery and split personality and dream sequences bleeding into reality kinda shenanigans, but the core premise of the movie is identical to River&apos;s quest. A killer who went comatose, you have to find the clues you need from his mind, a remote location where he keeps his victims who are hooked up to grotesque machinery, the murderer&apos;s own past is fraught with his own personal trauma that bleeds into the case. <br>It&apos;s uncanny how many resemblances there are, leading me to believe that the whole quest has to be a direct reference to that movie, even though I don&apos;t really hear that many people talking about it. If you&apos;re not familiar, give the movie&apos;s summary a read or watch a recap of it (or watch the whole thing, if you&apos;re so inclined. It&apos;s a so-so flick, though) and you&apos;ll see what I mean with how similar it is to River&apos;s quest.

  At first I thought this would be the dullest imaginable content, but I was just looking for something to listen to while doing chores. In actuality, video uses cold info to illustrate the bleakness of the setting without the narrator having to rhapsodise too much. Really great stuff.

  Speaking of laws in Night City, during &quot;The Pickup&quot; I scanned Royce, who as you can imagine has a laundry list crimes, one of them was 2 counts of Corpocide. New to me.
