Well I picked a lot, put down earnest money and they came back and said they have to see if the plan fits on the lot wtf. I figured all that had been done

My friends paid a hefty lot premium for private tree lined property (it was GORGEOUS) and then the builder tore all those trees down to put in another phase two years after they moved in 😬

Here in Port Saint Lucie, FL, Pulte built a development with a beautiful lake. People paid for it. Now, the lake is dried, with weeds growing.

My girlfriend just purchased in a community with 4 builders, homes ranging from $400K to $900K, townhomes, single family & “luxury apartments”. She purchased a very nice $700K townhouse-across the street from the apartments. I thought ‘big mistake!’ There is NO WAY I would want my near million home across from apartments, even if they have a sign up that reads “Luxury”.
