  The US anthem was played before Canada-Morocco because the game was played on July 4th. Still ridiculous and highly insulting to both nations.

  We don’t have 4th July in Sweden at all, we skip it and proceed directly from 3rd to 5th. That is why summers in Sweden are so short.

  My son lives in Montreal, Quebec and 2 men from Texas were visiting the city last week. Montreal is very close to the NY and Vermont borders and they thought it would be sunny for 24 hours a day. They also thought the Atlantic Provinces only had fishing villages and no cities. They also didn’t think Montreal was a city. I can remember Americans visiting Nova Scotia when we owned a service station packing their skis to go skiing in the summer because they thought we had snow 365 days per year. Wouldn’t you think you would do a bit of research before you visited a foreign Country?

  Some Americans don&apos;t understand what a country is. This then leads to them to not understanding any post with international connotations. <br>Ask them to name a country some will say Africa and some will say Paris.
