  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUtSXFwNJbw&amp;t=1244">20:44</a> there’s a tool that plugs in and heats up called a seam iron. A seam is where two pieces of carpet are joined together. What looks like brown tape is something they use to join the seams. It has a thin “grid layer” of glue on the other side of it. It’s the same type of glue that’s used with a hot glue gun.The seam iron is used to melt the glue and hold the same together. When you hold it in one spot a little too long it makes a burn mark.

  As a plumber I would suggest getting a video inspection on the drains. They could still have settled and caused the pitch on the pipes to be incorrect depending on how deep they are.

  Just got my bill for the geotech report for my to be built home. I almost didn&apos;t do it because I thought it was unnecessary. Now I see that it&apos;s the best money I ever spent.
