I installed a standing seam roof and could not be any happier with it!

You wouldn't want to go on vacation and leave the house unattended after a copper roof install, it would be stripped and gone in a heartbeat.

The $200 maintenance replacement of screws on an entire roof seems JUST A BIT on the low side.

1 thing to remember what type of roofing one has install is only a water shed, the real roof is something no one will never see, its the Grace Ice and Water usually its only installed at the edge of the roof and only 4' up for ice daming but that is your roof Grace Ice and Water need to be installed on the whole roof, its will more so melt into the OSB or plywood and as it heats up it will secure itself around every screw and stop the leakage

Never in a million years will you convince me that screw down metal is superior to standing seam. That's just flat out BS. And a $200 service call???!!! Who the hell is going to unscrew and replace thousands of screws ( on a roof, no less) for $200?? And aluminum doesn't corode in salt air?? As a coastal resident, I wholeheartedly disagree with this statement. I This whole video is ludicrous. Love the windows at 9:16. AI crap.

$200 maintenance cost for the screws. Bull crap … maybe on a small shed. And labor will not be cheap. If it’s painted and someone is walking around on it ( it is semi low pitched), it will show up and then you will have to pay for a deep roof cleaning. #6 with hidden fasteners is the long term solution for low maintenance but much higher cost in the beginning

My parents had the fine stone coated pressed steel . Still on , never touched in over 35 years. It is reliant on a quality installer. Get that and it will last a lifetime. Down here it is called Gerard.
