  Fun fact: Jack-Jack is named after two people important to Mr Incredible. His mentor Nimble Jack, and his friend Gamma Jack.

  Something interesting is that in Jack-Jack Attack, when Kari is babysitting Jack-Jack, Jack-Jack’s laser eyes are thin and purple, whereas in the Incredibles 2, his laser eyes are now the iconic green beams. This means that there was an active decision to change his laser beams to match that of Gamma Jack’s in the LEGO games.

  When you were going into what turned Jack-Jack into the cold-blooded Gamma Jack, I thought you were going to introduce an alternate timeline where Syndrome successfully kidnapped him and raised him as his own. However, Edna turning him into a super-supremacist creep by accident is plausible, funny, and frightening all at the same time.

  The Edna connection is genuinely really clever. She's literally a trusted family friend, so Robert and Helen have literally no reason to be opposed to Edna caring for Jack-Jack, especially when she's helped them manage his various powers. So even if she only babysitted him for a while, it's plausible to assume she would grow to become Jack-Jack's sort of "auntie" figure who continues to feed him super supremacy. In fact, what if maybe, as Gamma Jack years later, he grows up to take this stuff further than she did, becoming a full blown Homelander type. And like, that too could explain why he decided to go back in time, cuz what if he did something awful and homelandery in the future and decided to escape consequences by going back to "the good old days" in which his dad was the world's greatest super and Edna Mode was "designing for gods"?

  If this theory ends up true, I think it could be possible for Gamma Jack to not have died against the Syndrome bots, but instead somehow having gained back his ability to time travel in a desperate situation, making him presumably dead.
