  When your mother-in-law helps you, it brings her joy and purpose. As an empty nester myself, I found it wasn’t a transition I found easy to go through. I help my daughters out when I go to their homes because I like still being able to help make their lives easier when I can. I don’t do it to judge them. I do it to possibly give a woman who is on a very busy phase of her life a little helping help. I do it because if it can give her an extra five minutes of time to relax, it’s worth it to me,

  My landlord&apos;s mother had dementia, so he took her along on errands, thinking she&apos;d stay in the truck. WRONG! (Also, she was lovely and adorable 😊).<br>She wandered inside while he was checking something in my cellar.<br>I&apos;d just brought up a warm load of hand towels and facecloths, when she wandered in, set down on the sofa, began folding, and we had a sweet conversation. (Thought it was her husband down cellar. No harm done - no need to correct her.)<br>Her son went out to his truck and she wasn&apos;t there, so he came looking and found her &quot;working&quot; for me.<br>(She&apos;d hurt her foot and wasn&apos;t supposed to be up and about.)<br>He took away my &quot;helper,&quot; punishing us both.<br>I love folding warm laundry, it feels so good on arthritic hands!<br>Rest in peace, sweet lady.

  You are NOT a fraud! &nbsp;She is a cricket and you are a ladybug! &nbsp;You are practicing ladybug organization and it is PERFECT! You got it in the end: if she is judging you, that is HER issue not yours. &nbsp;You re-framed perfectly too: You are PROVIDING her with a way to &quot;help&quot; that allows HER to GIVE to YOU. It&apos;s her way of saying &quot;I love you.&quot; (All that being said, I can totally relate to everything you said and feel. &nbsp;LOL) 💜 Watched till the end: YOU REALLY ARE A GENIUS!!! That was an amazing fix. Hope you are aren&apos;t burping bubbly, soapy motor oil for too long.💖
