I'm a souls fan and massively prefer the souls series over skyrim but the thought of the dragonborn pausing to heal is hilarious. <br>John souls: How did you do that?<br>John Skyrim: Heal infinitely?<br>John souls: No, I meant pause.

The Chosen Undead could do some gnarly stuff but the Dragonborn literally takes one look at all those feats, scoffs and says he could do them better. Which he could probably could.

Fun fact about the battle song done by Yates (fireborn) the chorus is made up of long time Death Battle fans. <br><br>Also ngl this might be my favorite DB rn the set up/reason why they fight is perfect the animation is top notch the music if the most epic mash up of the Sources possible and it’s not just a planet busting spectacle like a lot of the best fights. This is a epic duel between 2 Demi god hero’s giving pretty much EVERYTHING they’ve got to complete the quest and save everyone. This isn’t just a fight for them this is something they HAVE to do. The moment when these two bust out their final weapons with the chorus blaring as they charge head first into one another is one of the most Hype pieces of animation Death Battle has ever made!

And this isn't even getting into the <i><b>DEEP</b></i><b></b> lore of Elder Scrolls, like CHIM<br><br>CHIM (yes, in all caps), is a sort of "Ascended" state where you have learned the truth of the world, and maintain your individuality (it's complicated)<br>And the power of CHIM is described...literally like a player's abilities: Saving and Loading, console commands, seeing the wireframe of the game world, etc.<br>It's why in Morrowind, Vivec, despite not particularly being on your side, will tell you upfront that he will <i>not</i> strike first and will only fight you in self-defense<br>Because he has achieved <i>understanding</i> of CHIM, and knows that <i>you</i> have achieved it. So challenging you in combat is an <i>exercise in futility,</i> because <i>you</i> are capable of retrying the duel an <i>infinite number of times.</i> Meaning you will, eventually, succeed and kill him in combat.<br><br>And because of the nature of what those who have achieve CHIM are capable of, it's <i>heavily</i> implied that <i>every</i> player character has achieved CHIM<br>So even <i>if</i> the Chosen Undead won, there would be nothing stopping the Dragonborn from resetting existence to the point in time where they first initiated combat, and repeating this encounter until he eventually wins. Basically, reloading the save before the fight, just like we would.<br><br>And again, that's just the surface. That's not getting into the <i>reality-breaking</i> capability of Shouting, or even <i>Shezarrine</i> stuff, which the Dragonborn is <i>also</i> implied to be.<br><br>tl;dr Elder Scrolls lore is fucking <i>weird,</i> it's protagonists are <i>absurdly</i> strong, and this fight was <i>laughably</i> one-sided.
