  The Hunt is one of my favourite films. The whole cast is incredible, from the young kids to Mikkelsen, and the writing is realistic. I live in a very small town where everyone's always known everyone else's business, and it hits home in a terribly authentic way.

  I've only seen Hannibal, a few Hollywood films and two Danish films with him. I have kinda the same feeling that Stellan expressed: his face is just unique, and while not beautiful in the usual sense, it's somehow attractive. He conveys emotions with his face so well that he can play both a villain and a very gentle and sensitive character equally well. I only learned about his dancing background after watching Hannibal, and it made so much sense, looking back at his character — smooth, eloquent. Great actor who loves his craft for the sake of it.

  The Mighty Mads!! Having trained as a dancer and as gymnast, I think that when he shows violence that it looks amazingly graceful and beautiful. I agree that The Hunt was probably his greatest performance. A must see if you haven't already.

  When I watched him for the first time in HANNIBAL, I instantly fell in love with his acting and recently I saw one his regional Danish film <b>Flickering Lights</b> because I am very interested in his Filmography.
