We have a 43‘ class A with two bathrooms and have been very pleased on many occasions to have both. Several of my fav pros about a diesel pusher is the quiet and often floating ride, being able to use the bathroom while underway and the 150 gal diesel tank. Just yesterday we ended a 3 1/2 month summer trip and it’s great to be home again for now. Stay safe you two.

The biggest benefit of truck stops is the savings with the Open Roads program.

A minor clarification - tail swing is NOT based on your rearmost axle, but on the drive axle. The tag axle in many (if not most) larger modern rigs is often automatically lifted when making tight maneuvers or when backing, making tail swing larger than it would be if the tag wheels were in full contact. It's also worth mentioning the difference between seamless slides (as in Tiffin 2015-2019) and more common Schwintek units (which tend to have more issues). Also, having pets may push you to want a bigger rig, as would wanting to be a host where a 1.5 bath setup may become a priority. Learning to drive a truly big rig (ours is a 2016 Tiffin Allegro Bus 45) isn't for everyone, but it does allow true full comfort.

That was extraordinarily helpful, thank you so much. As an older person with a bad back I appreciate the lack of stairs inside a motorhome. Some of those stairs, in even the most luxurious fifth wheels, don't look like something that I would want to deal with every day. One level is a necessity for me to be comfortable. Your coach is beautiful and you two are lovely! Happy to subscribe and I look forward to more of your vids! Thanks again!

My wife and I have a 45ft diesel pusher. Comfort is the key. We are not traveling with kids. Someone once told me to buy what you can afford. I have no reservations for what we chose.

Since my sister and B-I-L visit us every winter in FL having an actual sofa bed and powder room makes our 45ft diesel pusher comfortable. We have room to entertain and most importantly separate space from each other.

Recently sold our Class B because it was too small. Initially we purchased for convenience on road trips. We quickly learned we needed more sleeping space. Now on the hunt for something that’s small enough to be convenient, powerful enough to tow, big enough for bunk beds.
