  I remember when I first heard about this one, I searched it up and accidentally read the wholesome rewrite version instead and was left confused. I eventually found the right version though and have never been able to scrub it from my memory.

  Fun fact: when reading, i actually vomited. Now, I could have been the stomach bug I had at the time, but I think it&apos;s not out of the realm of possibility for it to be from the fic

  For any young writers out there: “Dead Dove: Do Not Eat” is NOT a replacement for tagging the fic. You should still add appropriate trigger warnings to it, DDDNE is more of a “what the tags say is exactly what it says on the tin, and no attempt will be made to avoid triggering content because it’s probably throughout the whole fic”

  My friend, my brother, and I were all fans of Gravity Falls in college. So, one day my friend decided to read this fic to me (funny enough, I think I was relatively new to fanfiction at the time). I just sat there in disgust when my brother came by. My friend started reading the story from the beginning and once it started going bad, my brother was like, &quot;Okay, let&apos;s do something else.&quot; I just sat there in amazement: It didn&apos;t even occur to me to tell him to stop reading. Long story short, I never actually read the whole thing and I&apos;m fine with that.
