Looks like they have their place. Don’t tell my wife she doesn’t have to drag out a generator anymore! 😂 I have a manual main breaker interlock switch and breakers labeled w/ blue dots for the essentials that she knows how to hook up if needed…… she’s a keeper! Nice video!

Thank you! That was the best explanation of how those work I've seen so far. I have my house set up with a manual transfer switch powered by a generator. I know enough to be dangerous and your "experiment" helped tremendously. 🤠👍

In the 70’s GMC used those breaker boxes in the GMC design and built motor homes.
