One comment on the "Warning: Coffee Hot" thing: the McDonalds incident was caused by a woman getting 3rd degree burns from spilled coffee and needed skin grafts. It was WAY too hot, and there'd already been about 700 or so settlements before this lawsuit for more minor burns before this.

I think what a lot of people dont understand is those heat stress training videos are made for companies to buy to show their staff members as its required by law. So rather than companies making the videos themselves they buy them from other companies who make them, hence the $495 price tag.

Here's the sad truth: if you have to design anything to be safe and be easily used by the public in general you have to do it like everyone is 5 yo.

I had to watch a video at work on heat stress, it happened to be a couple weeks after JonTron's video dropped and it was so hard to get through while trying not to laugh out loud

1:45 The idea that the McDonald's hot coffee lawsuit was frivolous is a smokescreen created to help McDonald's save face. It was not a frivolous lawsuit, the restaurant served her coffee that was 180 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, way too hot to be safe, and she suffered third degree burns in her nether region after a spill.

McDonald's even admitted during the trial that they KNEW it was a burn hazard and had received over 700 other complaints before that, and did it mainly to prolong free refill periods. Anyone who sees this, stop spreading the myth that it was some selfish lawsuit against the poor gigantic corporation. Stella Liebeck was genuinely in the right. She suffered extreme injuries due to corporate negligence.
