I heard a rumor that the spine wall are actually spines of living politicians.

My Uncle donated his body to Science when he passed away back in November. He said he didn't need it anymore and he would rather it be used for education.

For how morbid and serious the main topic is, I highly appreciate the humour of this vid.

Seriously if I found a real skeleton in the attic I would be questioning what was the relative … murderer?

A friend of mine is an older physio in Australia and she had to have a bone box. She displays hers at her physio but so beautifully and honour's the donor. And celebrates the donation that has allowed her to become qualified and is part of her forever story. Its respect and beautiful. The first time I handled them I was 18 and at first freaked me out. But jo started the conversation and educated about this person's ultimate gift. It's actually quiet beautiful.
I am a paramedic and nurse and got to attend the body worxs presentation and at first freaky but omg it changed the way we understood the body.

Speaking of over achievers: my chiropractor told me I have an extra rib on each side and my collar bone has “fins”(little triangular bones that sit on top of them). He said it can’t hurt me, but he rarely gets to see that.

When I entered medical school in 1995, each student was assigned a desk/station in the lab; in the drawers of the desk were articulated hands and feet, and a skull if I recall correctly. Good times.

When I was in PT school and we took Gross Anatomy and Neuroanatomy we had a bone box with real bones. Fortunately, we didn't have to buy them, but we did have to sign all kinds of paperwork and put down a refundable deposit. One of the forms we had to sign stated that we would pay $200 for each bone that was missing from the box or damaged upon its return. It was an amazing study aid, but my anxiety was through the roof guarding that box and making sure those bones were handled with the utmost care!

As for the cadaver lab, my class had a bon fire where we burned our clothes after we finished Gross Anatomy! I smelled formaldehyde for weeks after every time I went to the bathroom!

When I worked at an Orthopedic clinic in the 1980s, we had a real skeleton. Over time it started falling apart. We knew all the information on the person.

It's interesting to me to note that she said the skeletons mostly came from India, because that's what they say in that movie Return of The Living Dead, which coincidentally came out in 1985, the same time she said they discontinued it. Return of The Living Dead is my favorite horror franchise.
